AWS re:Invent 2023
Comprehensive brand presence for AWS re:Invent, spanning out-of-home media, booth design, and event signage across Las Vegas. The goal was to create a bold, cohesive brand experience that stood out at one of the largest and most competitive tech conferences in the world.
Challenge
AWS re:Invent brings together thousands of technology brands competing for attention across the city and on the conference floor. The challenge was to stand out at scale while maintaining a clear, consistent brand experience across many formats, from massive billboards to close-up booth interactions.
Approach
Developed a bold, flexible visual system built for quick recognition and clarity at scale. Explored multiple OOH design directions to test visual hierarchy, messaging, and impact in high-traffic environments throughout Las Vegas. In parallel, explored several booth design concepts, evaluating each for visibility, flow, and brand expression. The final direction connected the outdoor campaign and the booth experience into a single visual language. Every element was designed to work together, guiding attendees from city-wide awareness to on-site engagement. I also storyboarded and designed animated content for the booth's hanging LED cubes and media wall, collaborating with an agency partner on animation production to bring the space to life.
Outcome
The campaign created a strong, highly visible presence throughout Las Vegas and on the conference floor. The cohesive design system helped reinforce brand recognition, drive booth engagement, and create a memorable experience from first impression to final interaction.
